The other day I overheard someone ask another what the two most important lessons they had learned in their life were, and though I appreciated their answers, I thought about mine, and found mine to be different.
In my twenty-three years of life I have found these two lessons crucial to my growing:
One: Anything is possible.
Two: The world is filled with far more good than bad.
These two lessons govern the way I live my life. They have changed my life for the greater, though before them, and without them, I was prone to negativity and despair—two behaviors that rip at the soul and tear.
