One of my favorite gifts I ever received was this gem of a beauty, prayer necklace. The gift was hand given to me as a wedding present by a lovely Pakistani woman who brought the unique piece of jewelry back with her from a trip to her homeland.

The necklace reads in Urdu, and though I cannot read Urdu, I have the Arabic version memorized, and I have read the translations of this prayer many times, holding its words dear to my soul.  There is nothing more meaningful than a promising prayer, and to be able to wear a necklace engraved in words of wisdom brings solace and comfort to my heart.
